IBER-BAS Black Sea BRIDGE-BS 2022 coastal survey PS2 'water column'
Data from a multidisciplinary survey of benthic and pelagic ecosystems in the coastal area of the Bulgarian Black Sea within the BS BRIDGE project activities of IBER-BAS. Data includes water column CTD profiles, profile measurements of oxygen concentrations, pH, turbidity, chl-a fluorescence, as well as discrete depth sample measurements of concentrations of nutrients ( nitrates, nitrites, phosphates, total nitrogen, seston, chl-a).
Sampling , sample and data analysis was carried out in the framework of the BRIDGE-BS Horizon project.

Devices
Water column profile measurements of temperature, salinity, chl-a, oxygen concentration, turbidity and pH were carried out with the NKE Instruments MP7 multiparameter probe.
Laboratory measurements of concentrations of nutrients and chl-a were done following standard marine chemistry methodologies (Grasshoff et al, 2009), using bench labfluorometers.
