IBER-BAS Black Sea 2021-2023 Burgas Bay survey, water column parameters
Seasonal survey of physical, chemical and biological monitoring of water column parameters within the coastal area of the Burgas Bay, carried out in the framework of BRIDGE-BS project actiities of IBER-BAS. Sampling and profiles were done on a bi-monthly schedule at standard long-term monitoring stations along the southern coast of the bay. Vertical profiles of water column parameters were measured using the NKE Instruments MP7 multiparameter probe. PAR measurements were carried out with the NKE Instruments SPAR irradiance data logger and . Nutrient analysis was carried out in the lab, following standard marine chemistry methodologies (Grasshoff, 2009).
